Education/ Experience and Skill Requirement
    • Relevant experience of 3-4 years supporting Investment banking division of a bank, consulting firm, boutique firm, advisory firm
    • Experience of managing small team, preferably at least 2-3 members
    • Highly developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to create and deliver professional product ideas and presentations.
    • Having a good hold on company profiles (ranging from strips to one page summaries to detailed ones), potential targets / buyers / M&A screening, Pitch book update and other adhoc research
    • Exposure of relative valuation (company comparable analysis/ Trading comps/ Precedent Transaction analysis) and good understanding of the financial statements
    • Expertise in financial computer applications and database management tools including MS Powerpoint and Excel. Strong proficiency in other Microsoft Office products and the Internet.
    • Excellent working knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Dealogic, FactSet, Factiva, Mergermarket, Pitchbook.com, LCD, Thomson, etc.
    • The candidate should have the ability to work independently and apply her/his insights to client ideas
    • Self-motivated
    • Ability to work in high-pressure situations (tight deadlines / earnings seasons)
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Team players who must show the willingness to work with cross functional teams across many time zones
    • Well versed with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Power Point
    • Post-Graduation in Finance or equiv. qualification (MBA (finance), CFA)

Responsibilities
    • Supporting our clients on multiple industries including Power & Utilities, Technology Media Telecom, Consumer Retail Healthcare, Oil & Gas, FIG, Industrials
    • Working on company profiles (ranging from strips to one page summaries to detailed ones), potential targets / buyers / M&A screening, Pitch book update and other adhoc research
    • Also comfortable working on newsletters, M&A summaries, market & industry overview slides (short and detailed), trading/ transaction comparable, financial / operational benchmarking etc.
    • Preparing M&A case study, capital structure analysis, company focused discussion documents related to various industries
    • Manage project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure “high client satisfaction”
    • Ensuring timely delivery of reports to clients and keeping seniors informed in advance in case of any delay
    • Ability to handle small group of team members
