Education/ Experience and Skill Requirement
- Post-Graduation in Finance (MBA, CFA, CA etc.) or equivalent qualification
- Relevant experience of 4-6 years supporting Investment banking division of a bank, consulting firm, boutique firm, advisory firm
- The candidate should have the ability to work independently and possesses the management/leadership skills to run the research on a day-to-day basis and apply his insights to client ideas
- Ability to handle pressure working in fast paced environment with quick problem solving skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Working knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Eikon, Merger Market, etc.
- MS Office skills – should be excellent in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for working as part of the dedicated team for investment bank
- Interact with key bankers and business managers in multiple global locations to
understand their feedback on the service and also identifying growth opportunities - Perform advanced financial statement analysis and hands-on experience of working on
LBO models, trading comparables and transaction comparables - Analyze impact of overall economic health on financial performance of businesses and
identify significant business, industry and financial strengths and risks - Work on internal credit / capital market memorandums and client pitches
- Prepare bond and loan market updates, which analyze credit market conditions and
broader macro-economic data trends - Manage project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure “high client
satisfaction” - Setting up responsibilities for direct reports; coaching them on complex assignments and
reviewing their work with value add suggestions with a goal to exceed client expectations - Demonstrate strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management,
information/knowledge needs assessment
