As we celebrate our 20 years anniversary, we are grateful to our clients, employees, partners, and well-wishers. Our journey began in Colombo and Gurugram when a couple of passionate individuals came together to start banking and financial services knowledge outsourcing firms.

Amba Research was set up and established operations in Sri Lanka and Singapore

Set up a consulting division

2010

  • Set up of analytics division

Opened a research centre in Beijing to enhance APAC presence

Acquired Exëvo to offer primary research capabilities

Moody’s acquired a majority stake in Copal Partners

2013

Copal Partners acquired Amba Research and formed Copal Amba

2016

  • Copal Amba integrated into Moody’s Analytics. Rebranded as Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services

  • Launched BEAT (Business Excellence and Automation Tools), focused on integrating technology automation into capital market projects

2022

  • Acquired Cians Analytics.

  • Global employee strength crossed over 5,500.

  • For the first time, featured in ‘Most Inclusive Companies Index (MICI)’ and ‘India Workplace Equality Index’; and recognised as ‘Best Companies for Women in India’

2021

  • Opened new sales offices in Dubai, Texas, and Philadelphia

  • ‘Great Place to Work® Certified™ and the ‘Best Outsourcing Service Provider to Capital Markets

Rebranded as Acuity Knowledge Partners following a management buyout backed by Equistone Partners Europe Ltd
